Description
TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
Laminated rubber bumpers help protect loading docks, buildings, trucks and truck cargo from impact damage. They are commonly used in the shipping and receiving sectors of factories and warehouses.
Manufactured under more than 1,500 pounds of compressive force, laminated bumpers achieve absorption of more than 80 percent of the impact force when in service. The rubber pads are laminated between heavy structural steel angles and secured with ¾ inch-diameter steel tie rods. A minimum 3” rubber thickness on the impact face protects the assembly from damage. Dock bumpers are available in 6”, 10”, 12”, 20”, 24” and 36” heights in a variety of widths to suit a wide range of applications. They are black, and metal parts are finished with chromed aluminum lead-free enamel.
PVCStrip.com’s laminated rubber dock bumpers are designed for bolted installation using an integral ¼” thick structural steel angle. They may also be ordered with one side suitable for bolting and the other side featuring a ¼” thick flat steel plate for welding in place. The one-sided welded installation is common when a dock leveler is present in the application.
