Wall Mount hardware is designed to be installed above the doorway on the wall. Wall mount is the most commonly used hardware type because it allows the strip door to extend past the opening so that a positive seal is achieved between the outer most strips and the wall. This is the minimum suggested for doors with 8” wide strip. For wall mounted doors with 12” wide strip add an extra twelve inches to the total width. For doors with 16” wide strip add sixteen inches to the total width in sizing your door.
Hardware comes in different sizes, if we don’t have a solid piece of the width you ordered, we will send you a combination to arrive at your total feet.
