How to Cut and Punch Strips

Template

Our PVC Strip Template makes it a snap to produce professional quality strips. Whether you are cutting 6", 8", 12" or 16" wide strips, the PVC strip template gives you the hole positioning information you need to make strips that match the originals perfectly. Use the template with 48" width material too. This template comes free with all bulk roll orders.

Cutting

The OLFA NL-AL Heavy Duty Auto-Lock Cutter features an auto-lock blade slide, stainless steel blade channel, rope loop and cushion handle. The body, or handle, is guaranteed forever by OLFA. Measure your strip’s desired length and cut with our heavy-duty cutter. This comes free with all bulk roll orders over $100.00.

Note: Remember to cut each strip an extra inch or two longer. Strips usually shrink slightly, so add in a little extra length to make sure your opening height is covered.

Punching

Use PVCStrip.com’s Mallet for punching all of your strips. The mallet features a 2-1/8" face diameter, a 4-1/2" head length and weighs 14 ounces.
