PVC Strip Door Material Widths

6" Wide PVC Strip Material is used for interior walk-through doorways, up to 8' high. It is most commonly used with a 67% overlap.
8" Wide PVC Strip Material is used for interior, light traffic doorways, up to 8' high. It is most commonly used with a 50% overlap.
12" Wide PVC Strip Material is used for interior or exterior doorways, up to 14' high. It is most commonly used with a 67% overlap. 100% overlap is used for heavy duty applications or where wind or air pressure requires it.
16" Wide PVC Strip Material is used for interior or exterior doorways, over 14' high. It is most commonly used with a 75% overlap.

Choose Standard Ribbed instead of Standard Smooth PVC Strip Material for openings that have heavy forklift traffic.

PVC Strip Door Material Thicknesses

.060" Thick PVC Strip Material is most commonly used with 6” wide strips on personnel openings, walk-in coolers, and walk-in freezers. It is recommended for light duty traffic only.

.080" Thick PVC Strip Material is most commonly used with 8” wide strips for interior and exterior openings, and it suitable for light duty forklift and cart traffic.

.120" Thick PVC Strip Material is most commonly used with 12” wide strips for interior and exterior openings, and is suitable for forklift traffic, carts, and pallet jacks.

.160" Thick PVC Strip Material is most commonly used with 16” wide strips for interior and exterior openings, and is suitable for heavy duty forklift and vehicle traffic*.

* Note: PVC Strips are not suitable for automobile traffic. Strips will scratch the vehicles and may cause damage.
