Low Temperature Strip Doors
Low Temperature PVC strip doors are also known as polar grade, USDA accepted, freezer grade, and cooler or refrigerator grade strip doors. Low Temperature strip doors stay flexible and resist breaking and cracking under normal operating conditions in cold temperatures. Low Temp PVC Strip Doors are ideal for internal or external door applications with temperatures ranging from -20°F to +140°F.
The most common applications for Low Temperature Strip Doors include walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, personnel doors in food service and restaurant environments, and cold storage openings.

PVCStrip.com offers the widest range of Low Temperature Strip Doors, including:
Low-Temp Smooth: Low Temperature Smooth Strip Doors are the most common low temperature strip door types. They have great clarity and a soft, smooth finish. Low Temperature Smooth Strip Doors are softer than Standard Smooth strip doors.
Low Temp Reinforced: Low Temperature Reinforced Strip Doors have a smooth finish and great clarity, and also include nylon string reinforcements that allow the strip to resist elongation. Low Temp Reinforced Strip Doors provide added strength in cold temperature applications.
Low Temp Ribbed: Low Temp Ribbed strip doors, also called Low Temp Offset Double Ribbed strip doors, are similar to Standard Ribbed strip doors but have low temperature properties. Low Temp Ribbed strip doors reduce drag on loads and discourage strips from sticking together. The raised ribs on 2” centers cause the equipment moving through the door to impact the rib first instead of the smooth flat surface of smooth strip. This keeps the vision area on the ribbed strip clearer longer, resulting in increased visibility through the strip over time. Typically Low Temp Ribbed strip doors can last as much as 20% longer than Low Temp Smooth Strip Doors.
Extra Low Temp Smooth: Extra Low Temp Strip Doors are designed for the lowest temperature environments. Extra Low Temp Strip Doors are designed for walk-in coolers, freezers, and blast freezers where temperatures range from -70°F to +130°F.
