Insect Control Strip Doors

Insect Yellow PVC Strip Doors are often called no-bug or anti-insect strip doors. Insect Yellow PVC Strip Doors reduce the attraction of insects to light sources on the other side of the strip. It can also be used to shield workers from ultraviolet light hazards. The product has a special tint that blocks ultraviolet light with a maximum of 1% transmission at 500 nm. Yellow is suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications where temperatures range from 0°F to +150°F.

The most common applications for Insect Yellow Strip Doors include food processing facilities, printing facilities, and warehouse applications. These doors are extremely popular in the South.

Insect Yellow Smooth Strip Doors: Insect Yellow Smooth Strip Doors have a translucent yellow tint with a smooth finish.

Insect Yellow Ribbed Strip Doors: Insect Yellow Ribbed Strip Doors are designed in the same manner as Standard Ribbed strip doors. Insect Yellow Ribbed Strip Doors reduce drag on loads and discourage strips from sticking together. The raised ribs on 2” centers cause the equipment moving through the door to impact the rib first instead of the smooth flat surface of smooth strip. This keeps the vision area on the ribbed strip clearer longer, resulting in increased visibility through the strip over time.
